Agatha Moses - Nigerian Praise 1

Complete in Christ

May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Ephesians 3:19

True worship that flows from the heart of the Father begins only at the moment when we are completely at rest in Jesus Christ. We sometimes feel like we came to God but are  locked outside the door of His presence. We stand just outside of the blessing of His love because of some fear, our own self righteousness or sin. But Jesus with His amazing love is waiting for us to enter. He has paid for it all. Now, we must let go of everything that keeps us from Him. In Him all our sin becomes white as snow, all our emptiness is filled, all our fears flee and all our focus is on Jesus.

Flying up into the presence of God

Why the eagle can'y fly
Romans 12:2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

One day we went to a small zoo, and as we entered we passed three large bald eagles perched on rocks in an open area. I wondered to myself how such large powerful birds could be kept from simply flying away. Then one of them spread his wings as I approached with the camera and I saw the reason. For all his power and his original design for flight in the high winds and clouds of God's heavens, he now was a prisoner of earth because his wings were clipped.
Today as I was reading the book of Romans, I saw how we are so often kept grounded with our wings clipped in our worship. We enter church to lift up the name of Jesus, longing for his presence. We spread our wings to fly into the heavens, but we do not fly, because our wings have been clipped. Our worship is hindered because there is something in our lives that is not on the altar and we have kept back a part of ourselves from God.
Our spirit longs for the winds of God's presence. Then, that is the time to joyfully place on God's altar our all, with nothing held back and nothing in reserve. That is a sacrifice that God will accept, because it is a reflection of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. That is the place where the Father will give us new wings. Then we can rise up with eagle's wings and fly up into His presence. That is the place He has prepared for us!!

God’s Anointing in Worship - Psalm 133

For harmony is as precious as the anointing oil that was poured over Aaron’s head, that ran down his beard and onto the border of his robe.    Psalm 133:2 NLT

The Holy Spirit loves unity! So often we sing and go through the motions of worship but seem to come away with little sense of God's intimacy. It may be enough to keep us alive, but it is not enough to satisfy the deep longing in our spirit for our Father's presence. But When we begin to really worship God together in a true heart-unity; then the oil of God's presence can begin to pour out. The anointing always begins with Jesus. He is the head of His church and the High Priest of Praise. We can only reach some of these most intimate moments with Him when we are most intimately joined in worship as His church. From Jesus the awesomeness of God's love, holiness and power will flow down. He won't allow even the lowest, most humble member of his church to be left out. Tomorrow is another Sunday, another first day of the week. We have another opportunity to come and worship together in a way that will bless the heart of our Father. When He finds us together praising His name, then He will come and sing over us with love!! Be blessed as you enter in!!

I love your presence - Bethel church / sub español

God's Presence...Our Home

Is God's presence the place where we return to like we come back each day to our home? Is it the place where we know we belong, where we know we can knock and the door will open? Is God's presence the place where we can truly be ourselves...no make-up..no dress up...no pretending? David asks God;

" Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? "
If we really are God's children then we can call out to Him as our Father and know that because of His unending love he will accept us and allow us to sit by his side.
Worship in its truest meaning is simply coming into God's almighty presence knowing that we will be accepted through the blood of Jesus. Worship is telling our Father all that is in our hearts. God's love and acceptance never change. Every day they are new!!

The River of God

Psalm 46:4-5 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.

Where is the source of our joy? If the joy of our life flows from the streams of our own abilities and resources, then what happens when these fail?
Jesus promises us living water. He will give us an inner river that will begin to flow the moment we stop all we are doing and begin to drink from him. He will come to us at daybreak and fills us with His presence. He will come at the end of our night and give us His life forever!

God's Identity ; A Identidade de Deus

God’s identity is His word. When Jesus' words become ours it changes who we are The flesh and blood Jesus is not here with me today. He is seated at the right side of the Father. The bread that Jesus multiplied has been eaten, the waves that he stilled have disappeared, the people he healed have died, the robe he wore is no longer with us, even the cross he died on has completely fallen to pieces. The grave Jesus left behind stands as only a silent testimony; but the words that Jesus spoke are still with me. The words of Jesus are not just ink and paper but they are the stairway to heaven, the life of the Father and the promise of eternity!

A Clean Heart

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

I was captured by the innocence of this small child in India.  She did not  understand all that was happening around her or why I was interested. Yet Jesus tells me that she has an angel always looking into the face of the Father in heaven.  Of all that any of us could possess, do or become there is nothing that our Father values more highly than a pure heart. Jesus said that the pure in heart can see God. We can see him in the busied and hurried  moments of any day.  If our heart needs a cleaning then only God can help. We do not need to know all the answers to see Him. We just need to ask. He will be there watching, waiting and treasuring that simple child like innocence of a heart that belongs to Him.
